New beginnings....

In thirty four days I have top surgery. In the period of public transition I have had the opportunity to meet many fantastic people.

Firstly the psychologists who finally diagnosed me. Laura and then Vicky. They seriously know their stuff and if anyone needs recommendations please let me know. I still speak with Laura for additional support as and when I need it. She is the person who coined the phrase , 'your time was not then but now' and one I still use.

Next is Victoria Rose , the surgeon, fondly known as Rosie; who also volunteers her skills and has recently returned from Gaza where she helped many people who have been significantly disfigured because of this horrific unnecessary conflict.
I feel blessed to have found her and love her humanity and passion for her work

I then met Teddy, he is a guy who has turned my life upside down, in a good way. Sometimes things happen when you least expect it. He has shown me so much love and support it is beautiful and I am so pleased he is here on this journey with me and look forward to the future with him. Thanks for coming into my life Teddy 🫶

Lastly I have met some great support online within the trans community. I won't name names, in case I miss anyone, but it's safe to say you have all been an integral part and I thank you.

Now new beginnings doesn't mean goodbye to everything. I have some very supportive friends who have also been the solid foundation I need right now. They tell me how it is, advise me when they see me speeding ahead and are here for a shoulder to cry on, a laugh , a hug , they are so needed and loved 🧡.

New beginnings are coming and I am embracing the daily change, including the struggles.

I just wanted to thank you, each and every one of you 🫶🫂🏳️‍⚧️
